Healthy, affordable kai made in Shirley!
Nourish Oraka was set up by a couple of mums who couldn’t resist the opportunity to provide family friendly employment in our local community. 273,000 school lunches later we switched to providing kai direct to local whanau and partnering organisations. Our aims are to: - provide training, employment and enterprise opportunities in the Te Oraka/Shirley community - provide healthy kai that utilises seasonal & local produce - build and strengthen connections between people living within this community - work towards environmental sustainability
